Kit McKenna is an award winning author of books in a variety of genres including Romantic Suspense, Small Town, Contemporary, and Mafia, all set against the backdrop of Oklahoma. Her characters are rich and diverse with their own demons, drama, and challenges to overcome. She loves to feature strong women who take the lead, even in her mafia series. That's right folks, women can be mafiosi, too!

She's a born and raised Oklahoma gal. As a Libra, she's equal parts love, positivity, practicality, and plans balanced with an artistic free spirit who enjoys regular strolls on the dark side, wandering through cemeteries, and celebrating Halloween all year long.

Kit comes to writing later in life, self-publishing her first book in October 2022 and never looking back. By the end of 2025, she'll have over twenty books available and based on the characters lined up in her brain, who are eager to tell their stories, she'll be writing for many years to come.
